I’m Brian Cowles, founder of SYNZ LLC — a company built on decades of experience in graphic arts, printing, and operational leadership. SYNZ was created to bring clarity and efficiency to print production, drawing from my deep background managing creative teams, transforming underperforming operations, and delivering high-quality visual communications for top national brands.

Before launching SYNZ, I served as Director of Operations at a wholesale sign company, where I played an integral  part in the company-wide transformation from traditional printing to a fully digital model. I implemented FireSprint’s first-ever strategic plan, helped developed comprehensive operating and capital budgets, and played a key role overseeing a successful relocation to a new facility — positioning the business for long-term growth.

Earlier in my career, I was Studio Director for a global premedia company, where I centralized and led national packaging graphics for a fortune 500 company. I consolidated operations across four cities into a single high-performance studio, reducing costs by over $500,000 annually while maintaining creative quality for more than 4,000 product SKUs.

I also held senior executive roles at prepress and graphic comapnies, Web offset Printing companies and at one time managed a division for the worlds largest printing company, overseeing 24-hour production operations, integrating corporate acquisitions, and managing teams of up to 110 employees. Across every role, my focus has remained constant: streamline systems, empower teams, and deliver consistent, measurable results.
